What Does it Mean to Be an Oklahoma Cottage Food Business?

• In 2021, the Oklahoma Homemade Food Freedom Act (HB 1032) was passed, authorizing certain non-perishable food items, including spices and seasonings, to be produced in the home for direct sale to the public.
• This Food Act, also, authorized sales of non-perishable food items within Oklahoma and, also, nationwide. Sales may be conducted in person or via website.

What is Our Filling & Packaging Process?

Please rest assured that we take our responsibility toward your health and safety very seriously. Our packaging process consists of the following:

• We sanitize all surfaces and utensils with alcohol before each use.
• We cover all prep areas with clean, new plastic every time we package.
• During packaging and handling of open containers, we wear gloves, hair net, mask and lab coat.
• Each jar is pressure sealed and capped immediately after filling. It is then placed in a closed container until it is wrapped and packaged for shipping to you.
